HOW DID SHE GET HERE?

Suzy has had a long journey to get to where she is helping liberate women from the burden of “not enough” and the idea that busy equals success. Suzy spent 40 years feeling like she wasn’t enough which is why she wants to help women overcome that feeling. After attempting to commit suicide at 20 years old, she set out to prove to herself that she was enough, and her first adventure into the real world was in sales. She always felt like she had an entrepreneurial spirit, and believes that business truly saved her life because it gave her something to focus on.

Suzy spent year in various director roles, and ended up buying her nutrition and wellness business in 2005. She owned that business for 10 years and felt like they were the most pivotal for her to heal herself. That brought her to wanting to help women overcome those limiting beliefs and things that are getting in their way so that they can flourish and know they’re enough.

WHAT ARE THE 4 STAGES OF CLARITY?

1. Revealing: This is the process of revealing what is hidden and raising awareness around what is forming blocks to desired outcomes. Everyone has blocks that hold them back. You’re never done peeling back layers and this process is about recognizing your own blocks, and what is keeping you from your goals and from moving forward.

2. Releasing: Through socialization, our parents, our friends, etc., we’re given pieces of things that we carry with us and you have to decide what you want to keep and what you want to let go of. We have to acknowledge what parts of ourselves we created and are happy with and what blocks, beliefs, and mindsets came from outside influences that are keeping us from who we want to be.

When you find clarity, your inner light really starts to shine through you and becomes your light.

3. Respond differently: At this point you’re guided by more awareness and there’s a discernment that leads to your taking thoughtful action instead of just reacting to everything. You go through your day more aware of situations and how you’re going to handle them instead of running around and putting out the fires.

4. Reorienting: Now you have to find a new and healthier way of being, where your health is a priority. This fosters better leadership, and ultimately is what will lead to your success in both business and your personal life. You have to be able to put the right priorities in place for yourself and discern what matters most.

HOW CAN WE MAINTAIN THAT CLARITY?

Everyone sets core values, but you need to take it a step further and determine your core importance. What are the things that are specifically important to you that dictate how you want to live your life? It’s easy to get caught in the trap of feeling like we aren’t doing enough, but if you know that part of your core importance is taking a walk everyday and holding space to have time to yourself to just think, then you’ll initiate those things into your day, and you won’t feel like you’re falling behind because you’ll be doing the things that actually matter to you versus doing the things that society or Instagram make you think you should be doing.
